Given BTC forks and contention, provide alternate cash-out mechanism in the event BTC chain dies. I can forsee scenarios whereby BTC hash power deserts main BTC chain and users are therefore effectively unable to move funds out of Vaultoro in any reasonable sense..blocks take forever to mine.
What is plan B?...given physical delivery isn't a realistic option in such events.12 votes

For the BCC hard fork, you should offer current account holders to split their coins and give them the BCC .
Your announcement this morning that Vaultoro will only support one coin in the event of the August 1 hard fork of ABC to Bitcoin Cash has already begun to produce the predictable result - a run on Vaultoro Bitcoin.
I also will want to remove mine.
It would be wiser if vaultoro will promise to split the coins, and give the users both coins after the fork. If you cannot do this we all will have to withdraw all our bitcoin in order to split it ourselves in our own wallets.
Hope this makes sense.10 votes
I login once per year to see whether spreads between bid and ask have moved and some liquidity has entered the platform. Unfortunately no progress is visible. I'm always surprised that with that low usage you can still survive, even earn something. For me this is the main risk factor for not using the platform. I propose to think hard about how to get liquidity into the platform. Some support for market making could help. Start with different liquidity makers/takers fees. Invite market makers and let them profit from the liquidity they create.10 votes
Provide a platform for Self-Directed IRA Holders9 votes
People will leave sooner or later, because the current % is way to high and will eat through your stack like crazy. And add a feature to lock your gold and receive a lower fee that way. Me myself and many others are thinking about switching since there are other with half the fee.

As an additional security measure it would make sense to request an additional 2FA token for confirming larger buy/sell orders (by amount or number of orders).
If I am correct the assets of an account could in case of a login breach, either because the customer did not follow the security recommendations (2FA, secure password) or due to a possible platform vulnerability, easily be cleared: Simply market sell all gold stock and transfer the BTC to an address. If entering such a large order would require a 2FA confirmation, this could be probably be prevented.9 votes
Greetings, I understand that if I don't verify my account it will belong to my email address. This would be a rather unsafe option since a email provider can be hacked or disappear. If I could upload a public PGP key I could still prove my ownership with my private key that could be backup up safely offline like a private key to a bitcoin account.
As long as email is the proof of ownership I would not store any significant amount in my vaultoro account.9 votes
Hi, It is a good idea to use your PGP key. That said it does not provide any security in case your PGP key gets stolen. We encourage everyone to verify themselves via the verification form to ensure proof of ownership and set up two factor authentication. This has been proven to be secure.
We will review your idea internally.
Like many other exchanges already implement (Binance for example). A list of address toward which we can withdraw BTC. Adding a new address to that list would require 2FA AND email confirmation, and maybe some delay of a few days before enabling withdrawals to that new address.
This would add a new layer of security to users funds.8 votes

It would be great if we could provide a PGP key in the settings, so we could choose to be private with all the information in the notifications you send out on email. Hope you can get this implemented :)7 votes
Hi! Indeed we looked into this. Our Email provider does not support that currently. This is definitely a must in the future and we are evaluating our options.
Instead of just listing the "Last price traded in bitcoin per gram", please show a list of the last few trades made by order date, time, bitcoin price/gram, and grams of gold bought/sold in the trade.7 votes
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. We are working on a better trading/history graph. the current price chart on the trading page shows the last trades by time and price. its currently just not showing the volume.
I will update the graph soon to show also the volume before the new graphing script is ready.
We just wont make it a table for now.
On a second note we launched or API (visit https://api.vaultoro.com)
You can see the last orders also here through https://api.vaultoro.com/transactions/day
Perhaps it would be interesting to put a sandbox mode for the API in order to facilitate development of third party applications.
You claim that "Vaultoro offers some of the lowest storage fees in the industry. " but that's far from your largest competitors offer.
This is a big deal for a long-term investor.6 votes
Please consider allowing all deposited BTC to be used to by gold. I am seeking a way to make automatic gold purchases. Thanks.6 votes
I want to be able to deposit physical gold in my country, and make that gold be available in my online account and be able to trade it into bitcoins.6 votes
I would like good transaction times. Bitcoin transfers take a long time to be credited. Alternative coins such as Ripple (XRP) are much fast

New deposit address should be available after each deposit for privacy reasons. Currently limited to one every 24 hours.6 votes
Please give us the option to have a graph showing how much our Vaultoro account is worth over time, maybe on the Dashboard. Its something I really need.
